Where do you see yourself in ten years? What kind of woman are you? Are you happy there? Was all of the pain, tears, stress and breakdowns worth it?
I'll go first.. I see myself financially stable. I see myself in a work environment that doesn't mess with my mental health. I see myself securing the BAG doing something that I love. Lots of shopping and traveling.. hopefully with the love of my life, and maybe, a few little ones. Oh and yes, I'm happy and everything for me was worth it.

I have a confession.. so honestly if you had asked me this years ago my answer wouldn't be the same.. like at all.. my life was a whole mess..
So enough about me.. now that I'm all in your business.. this is going to help me determine whether or not you'll be my "person"...

I lowkey always wanted to be a Christina..
As hard as Christina was one thing that I always admired about her was her work ethic. That woman was unstoppable. She knew what she wanted and nothing stopped her from getting it. Not a man, a ring, sex, teacher, baby, job or her best friend. She was fearless. She was a badass. She handled what needed handling even if sometimes it made her seem like a heartless monster to everyone else.
Crazy right? When a man does it.. he's LARGE and IN CHARGE.
A woman does it and she's a b.. actually.. I'm not even going to go there..
I don't know who needs to hear this but stop letting people and things hold you back from accomplishing your goals and GETTING. SH*T. DONE.
As a matter of fact, stop letting YOURSELF hold you back.
Start being selfish with yourself and stop selling yourself short and spreading yourself thin.
I'm sure you don't hesitate when it comes to giving everyone and everything else the best parts of you.. then you're hurt when you realize you're left with the watered down version..
You need to figure out what YOU want, how bad you want it, go after it & don't stop until you get it.
Your future self is going to thank you later, trust me.
I'm about to turn into that annoying ass big sister that stays on your back until you get it through your thick skull..
Don't be the person that looks back on their twenties and says "I should've", "I could've", "I would've".. instead be the person that says "I did it & I did it well" .. yes, even if you failed.
AND if you don't have someone in your corner pushing you to your full potential then you're in the WRONG corner.
For God's sake.. you don't even need a cheerleader.. you don't need a million likes and retweets for your accomplishments.. learn how to clap for yourself!
Look in the mirror and tell yourself how proud you are.. even with the small victories.. in fact.. ESPECIALLY with the small victories..
And ANY man that is intimidated by your success or trying to hold you back is a man that is too weak to be on your arm and in your bed.. Tuh.. I know you heard THAT!
Every day I see businesses being owned and managed by women who are literally KILLING IT.. and brainiacs who are slaying their semesters.. I mean y'all are all just doing the damn thing.

I don't know why but I always feel like when I see another woman win.. I'm winning too..

Confession: One thing I've never thought about when I'm admiring Girl Bosses, until this morning, was how much hard work and effort they put into their product for it to be quality content. How many hours they spend perfecting themselves.. Everything that they've sacrificed for their brand, for their name & their products. How much leisure they must've had to cut back on to pay for things their businesses needed. How many times they had to cancel and stay in some weekends because they had deadlines to meet.. How many times they probably cried or thought they were going to fail.. but continued kicking ass anyway..
Nobody sees the work that goes on behind the scenes.. we usually just *add to cart*
As hard as it is.. I'm so proud of you. You're making room for yourself at the table.. in fact.. you're bringing the whole damn table! I see you! I acknowledge you! If no one else is clapping for you sis, just know I'm here going hard for you.. even if I've never met you..
Hit snooze on that alarm clock & stop sleeping on yourself!!
Go ghost if you have to, research that business idea some more if you have to, practice harder if you have to, study harder if you have to, be a monster if you have to.. get it done because you have to!
